On the Mend

Isabel finally had a better night last night. In fact, she was just about back to her 12- or 13-hour-a-night sleep norm. She's eaten better today, and she even flashed a few cute grins to let us know she's feeling better.


As you can tell from the thick stream of drool, though, she's still got a bit of a sore throat, so we're taking it easy for a couple of more days until the germs quit pouring out of her mouth (hence the no-shirt, bibbed look).


Izzy has no shortage of willing playmates, though. Jack and Abby have been happy to keep her company and pull her into their creative games (this particular one was "driving to the zoo to see all the animals" via the storage ottoman).


Maybe tomorrow will be the all-better day (which is also known as the put-a-shirt-back-on day).
