when the bandaid gets ripped off

i'm weary, i'm sad, and i'm in need of a good cry (another one, that is).  so i'm going to make this quick.  we had to have some very difficult conversations with our agency this afternoon that have led us to make some even more difficult decisions tonight.  the past two days have been full of healing, but after today, the wound is feeling kind of raw again.

no less hope, just more hurt.

do you not know?  have you not heard?
the LORD is the everlasting GOD, the creator of the ends of the earth.
he will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
isaiah 40:28-31

Praying this verse for you today. "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us." Romans 8:18
