It's taken him awhile, but Jack has started to fall in love with books and reading. Most of his favorites have something to do with dinosaurs, trucks, or tractors, but recently, he's been a big
Goodnight Moon fan. He loves to flip through the pages and "read" the story all by himself. My personal favorite is when he gets to the part about the cow and how "the cow
gumped over the moon". Clearly, he has a little trouble saying his Js (which is unfortunate considering his name is Jack -- or Gack).
When I saw that this week's theme on
I ♥ Faces was "Completely Candid", I thought this was a sweet shot to include of Jack gingerly flipping through the pages of
Goodnight Moon by himself on the floor.
