overheard at our house today...

jack:  i really like easter.
mommy:  me too, buddy.  do you remember what easter is about?
jack:  yes, it's when jesus died on the cross.
izzy:  and mr. steve, too.
mommy:  time to hit the bible again, guys.

jack:  i love your eyes and your laugh, mommy.

while watching me do my video workout:
abby:  mommy, you're doing such a fantastic job.  you're doing everything different than they are.  i like it.

when the kids all joined me to exercise, i decided to teach them the meaning of the phrase, "it's like the pot calling the kettle black".

She is so freakishly flexible!! And don't you love a kids point of view- you're doing everything wrong and I think it's nice. Cute. And I also love their attire in the first picture- ready for the day clothes, a leotard and tutu, and pajamas. Nice!

izzy is on a nice start as a little ballerina. that looks just like a warm- up exercise we used to have to do and hold for about 5 minutes. OW! it makes my legs hurt again now to just think about it. actually, the pain would go away while laying there...the tough part was bringing them back together to stand up! :)anna l.

Abby's "commentary" made me laugh out loud. I can remember the days when I was a little girl watching my mom do the Stormi Omartian workout video in the living room...
