Well after a few-week break, I'm back in the game over on I &hearts Faces. This week's theme is sepia-toned photography. When I think of photos that are tinted in a sepia tone, I immediately think timeless...and what's more timeless than a wedding? It's a centuries-old tradition that will continue on for generations to come. So when I was deciding what photos to enter into this week's contest, I immediately thought of these shots from a recent wedding I helped with.
For the children's category, I grabbed this shot of one of the little flower girls just before she was getting dressed for the ceremony. She was thrilled to be getting dolled-up like a princess, and she certainly wasn't short on smiles that day!

And for the grown-up category, I just adore this photo of the bride that I took just before the ceremony began. I love the detail in her dress and the way the light is pouring in all around her. The best part is that she had no idea I was getting her picture just then. She was watching as one of the bridesmaids spread out the train on her gown, and it made for a beautiful photo.

Make sure you hop over to I &hearts Faces...join in the fun by submitting your own photo or just poke around to see all the fantastic entries this week.
